For christmas, my friend and roommate got me the Morphe 35O Palette and I was excited to get my hands on it and create some different looks using only shades from the palette. This is the first look that I created using the palette.
Recently, I’ve noticed myself going bare face more often then actually having a full face of makeup. When I have been doing my makeup, I’ve been really into the smokey eye look which is the first look I did with my new Morphe palette.
To create this look, I used the shades indicated (marked) in the picture. I started with the white shade (top left) and applied that all over the lid and on the brow bone. Then, I applied the orange shades (far right) to the crease and blended upwards. Following that, I applied the lighter brown shade (bottom left) to the outer crease and on the lid. Lastly, I darkened the lid by applying the darker brown shade (bottom right).
For the lower lash line, I applied the dark orange shade and the lighter brown shade. To finish of the look I did a wing liner and applied some mascara.
For the hair, it’s a simple hairstyle that I personally love doing and it’s pretty simple to do. I usually just start by separating the section of hair that will be braided and put into a top knot. To do that I just start at the arch of my brow and follow up into my hairline. How far back you want to go is up to you. I think take that section and split it down the middle. Then, I french braided both sections and ended them with small rubber bands. Lastly, I just took both sections and put them up in a top knot. I then curled the rest of my hair.
There you have it, that was my makeup and hair for the day on Tuesday (Jan. 03, 2017). My next post will be a review on the Morphe 35O Palette (With some swatches). So, look out for that post soon!
